| Everything you need to know (we
think) about ordering and shipping. We will email you as we receive your
order notice from Paypal. If for some reason you don't get
an email from us - send us one at the address below because
we didn't get your order notice from Paypal.
1. Contact info for us:
thaiamuletsalescom@gmail.com.
This is also our primary Paypal account address that
you can send $ to if for some reason you don't want to use
our order form to process your order.
We email you upon receiving the
Paypal funds in our account. We also email you shortly after
we send out your amulet to let you know it's on it's way.
Please email us when you receive your amulet so we can track
how many days it took to arrive at your location. Thanks!
If your Paypal address is not your correct
address - tell us quick. Sometimes we ship out same day. It would be a
shame to lose your amulet. Sorry, we cannot be responsible for a wrong
address in that case.
2. All shipping FREE. But, we
reserve the right to refund your Paypal transaction in the
rare case that the shipping is too much money and actually
costs us money to send it.
3. Multiple items purchased. Any
amulets must be sent individually. Customs is at times very picky and if
there are more than 1 amulet together they tend to find them. We just
ship one at a time.
Bracelets we can ship up to 10 of them at a time. Yan cloths - we wouldn't want to ship more than 3 or 4
together. Buddhist stickers - we could ship 10-15 at a time.
The small colorful Buddha charm amulets are small enough that we
might be able to ship 3 of them at a time. Other amulets are
either too thick or too heavy to ship in pairs or more.
Please understand that customs is sometimes quite illogical
in what they tax. We try to stay clear of them altogether by
shipping individual amulets in each envelope.
4. Your package is coming from
Thailand. We know average times it takes to reach
destinations in the west. To the USA and Canada it takes
anywhere from 7-14 days. To reach Switzerland, one time it
took only 4 days. Other times 12 days. The UK typically
takes at least 14 days. Germany, Sweden, France, Spain, and
Australia take between 8 and 14 days. Malaysia is an oddball
- it borders Thailand usually takes 2-3 days, we have had it
take as long as 9 days.
5. If you are concerned about your
package please don't write us until it has been 20 days
since we told you it was sent. There's nothing we can
do on this end until that time. Hold tight - only one
order went missing in the past 5 months. Yours will arrive!
However, if you gave us the wrong address - please let us
know as soon as possible.
6. Amulets are shipped "AIR MAIL"
from Thailand. It's impossible to track packages between
countries. We don't use a worldwide carrier like DHL or
FedEx because it would cost $25 - $35 to mail these very
lightweight amulets and accessories.
7. Amulets are shipped with 2 pages
from a Thai magazine folded in half. Amulets are taped
securely in a plastic bag to a page in the magazine to
prevent them from rolling around in the envelope. The
envelope is white and 5"x8" in dimensions. It has bubble
protection on the interior. It's a strong envelope and
unless someone runs a dump truck over your amulet it will
arrive just as we sent it. Please notify us of any concerns.
8. Customs is usually not a problem,
though there is no guarantee your package will not be
stopped by customs upon entering your country. You may be
asked to pay a small customs fee. If you have such a thing occur,
please write us and tell us - we try to keep up to speed on
what's happening in customs in different countries. As far as we know
this has happened just twice.
9. Returns, refunds, exchange.
Sorry, as we are operating at a bare minimum profit and
internationally we cannot offer returns or refunds for
items. We've not had anyone want to do so - and we've never
written a policy on it until right now - but better to think
ahead. Money orders, Western Union, and checks are not refunded, but you
have a store credit until you choose items.
We can't accept exchanges either for these two reasons:
A) We purchase each amulet from the
temple as it's ordered. If you return one for exchange that
means we need to hold that amulet until it's resold. We
don't want to hold any amulets in inventory.
B) The expense of mailing it back to
us here in Thailand and us mailing out another one - will
probably negate any benefit to either of us because we'd
have to charge you a fee for the trouble.
10. Broken items - Only once in a couple years have we had
someone with a broken amulet. Please take
a detailed couple of pictures of the damage if your amulet or other item
arrives broken. Send to: thaiamuletsalescom@gmail.com
